There are many kinds of salespersons and sales jobs, however all sales functions involve some common activities and abilities. Sales involves selling products or services in exchange for compensation. This can be done in a number of different ways but the fundamental principles and practices of sales will apply to every sales job. 

General Purpose
To plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.
